Active For Health - Chatteris
Active for Health is a FREE 12 week programme for people who want to lose weight.
It is designed to help you improve your fitness, socialise and improve your overall wellbeing.
You will receive a complimentary 30 day Freedom pass as part of the programme, subject to eligibility.
Active for Health is for people who:
- Are aged 18 and over
- Have a BMI of 25 or over or 23.5 for ethnic minorities
- Do less than 30 minutes of activity per week
- Are Fenland residents

Doddington Sept - Dec Pre Fit weekly sessions
Pre Fit classes help if you're infirm and want to build strength and balance, increase confidence to become more active, be more stable and supple.
You should be able to stand unsupported and sustain 10 minutes of physical activity. Our Strength and Balance classes are more gentle and a good staring point if you're not ready for Pre Fit.

Doddington Strength and Balance Sept-Dec weekly sessions
Strength and Balance classes are mostly chair based and help if you're infirm, are losing confidence in your balance and fear falling.
Our Pre Fit classes are slightly more advanced and ideal for people who can stand unsupported for up to ten minutes.
You should be able to sit independently and stand without help either independently or using a support.
Wednesday 11:15 - 12;15
This is a weekly booking option and we urge you to book several weeks at a time, to help us plan, ensure all classes keep running and avoid disappointment.

Tea Dances Summer 2025
Our Tea Dances are back this summer!
A fun, friendly and social event. Whether you are an experienced dancer, a complete beginner, a try it outer, a returner, a toe tapper or tea drinker!
A dance instructor is on hand to show beginners the steps & the event includes ballroom, latin and sequence dances.
Fridays, with a beginners tutorial 13:30 - 14:00 | then 14:00 - 16:00 for the main tea dance
